Our first day at the beach! It was quite overcast, but warm enough. Overcast was good for all the fair skinned people in our family.
Gary thought it was too cold/windy to play in the water, so he was all about the sand this time. He watched the camera bag for me.
Betsy just likes playing in the soft white sand. It really is different from the other beaches we've been to along the Atlantic.
The flag at the beach was still red (high risk) so no one ventured out too far. There have already been several stories in the local papers about swimmers being rescued (and sadly, recovered) from the water because they were caught in riptides and undertow. And, unposed photos are just as sweet!

I wish I was there with you guys! Stupid job of mine...just kidding, I love the job, but the lack of flexiblity during the school year stinks sometimes. Ah well. Looks like you're having a great time!
ReplyDeleteOh, but we still have the Smokies! Mountains are a good substitute for the ocean. And WDW at Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to both AND to my trips to the Berkshires and Williamsburg....Wyndham is my vacation destination this year! :)
