Every other weekend we are overrun with girls! My girls are home and my Michigan Man brings his daughter as well. They are all close in age--Tay is the youngest (10 in January), Betsy is the middle girl (11 in March) and Daisy is the oldest (12 in April).

We've always had the unique situation with my girls being the "same age" for a little while every year. They were born 11 months apart so for the last week in March and first 2 weeks in April, both girls are 11 this year. Until Daisy turns 12. We just noticed that Betsy overlaps with Tay as well! From January to the end of March, both of these squirrelly girls are 10!

Now SHE is truly a "middle child"!!

They do pretty well playing together. It's an adjustment for Tay--an only child. Just this weekend, it was witnessed that she was willing to give up the reins a bit and accepted Daisy as the oldest and Betsy as older than her. She stepped into the youngest role instead of trying to fight for the top rung!

UNO and other card games dominated this weekend.

An empty Pez dispenser never produces a smile.

And can sometimes produce feelings of pure horror!
