I can't believe we did this. It's probably against every bit of parenting advice ever written for dating moms and dads. But, we went ahead and got our kids together for a weekend. It's not like we're telling them they are going to be sisters and I figure new friends can never be a bad thing. The girls all got along wonderfully, which is amazing simply because there are three. I learned growing up that three can't play. One is always on the outs. But they did pretty well. Daisy is in 6th grade, Betsy is in 5th and Taylor is in 4th.
They were supposed to be raking the leaves...
instead, I found little hams posing in the ONE pile that they made. Which, they of course promptly scattered by jumping into, on and around!
There really weren't too many squabbles... we'll see what happens the better they get to know each other and the lesser possibility of everyone being on "best behavior".
