I love the days and weeks leading up to Christmas! It is one of my favorite holidays. I think it's a whole season on it's own and lasts so much longer than a single day.
* putting up the Christmas Tree
* decorating the stairway and putting up stockings
* looking at all of our photos from Christmas past
* helping the girls make their gingerbread house
* our annual baking marathon
* sneaking around while planning gifts
* hearing my girls giggle and tell secrets
* getting cards in the mail
* putting up my nativity set
* listening to all of my Christmas CDs --now loaded onto my Zune
* decorating the house
* spending so much extra time with children on break from school !
