My baby girl shut her finger in the car door just as we were hitting the road for home! Luckily, we had just finished filling the cooler with ice and had plenty for her. She spent the first hour of the trip with her finger on ice. We checked it every 20 minutes...we're pretty sure she only bruised it! Thank goodness!

Owie!
My baby girl shut her finger in the car door just as we were hitting the road for home! Luckily, we had just finished filling the cooler with ice and had plenty for her. She spent the first hour of the trip with her finger on ice. We checked it every 20 minutes...we're pretty sure she only bruised it! Thank goodness!

Ouch! Glad it was only bruised! I lost a fingernail once in a slamming accident.
