And, the decorating begins!
This is definitely the latest we have ever decorated cookies! Christmas Eve--right down the wire for Santa's plate!
It's always interesting for me to watch them work together...
The girls were in charge of frosting.
Jake was actually interested in my movie... "White Christmas" !
We tried a new cookie this year. Store bought butter cookies dipped in white chocolate and covered in sprinkles. Red hots were placed to look like holly berries on a wreath.
I'm curious to see what traditions they adopt and carry on with their own families later. (MUCH later).

We actually liked the ones without the red hots better. Note for next year!

We also tried some peppermint sugar cookies. They're good!
