Her first Solo and Ensemble! So, fear made her select a buddy to be tortured with her.
Duet Style !
It was a valuable learning experience, and she will know what she's in for next year! I think duets/ensembles are more difficult! I always preferred solos. And, of course, trying to talk her into one for next year.
