This year, Taylor participated in Girls on the Run. She didn't really have a choice! We told her she had to pick an extra curricular activity to be involved in this year. She has a lot of energy. Her self esteem is not equivalent to that energy--so GOTR seemed like a great fit for her!

Taylor with Coach Paula! Paula was SOOOOOO suited for this position! She was wonderful for the girls as a role model, mentor and cheerleader!
It's really big this year! Sooooo many girls running!
And then....the rains came! It was a steady rain for the entire race... My camera was wetter than it had ever been--and I've had it in the pool and the ocean!!!
Taylor finished at the back of the pack and was pretty well soaked by the end. Finishing and getting the medal was a boost, but finishing towards the back was a reality check.
